are very different from most dogs......they both were born with a cleft palate which gives them the appearance of having two
noses.
Kind hearted Maverick wants to be everyones friend. Miss
Murphy, his overprotective sister, helps keep Maverick in line and focused on taking care of the other animals at the Ranch.

Ms. Nucci Cento wrote this story based on her experiences with the real life Maverick and Miss Murphy, twin Australian Cattle
Dog mix. Maverick and Miss Murphy's adventures will continue on in this new series as they meet other real handicapped
animals.
